Legendary NFL Coach Sam Wyche to appear at Grasshopper’s booth at GIE+EXPO
Grasshopper Company announced Oct. 11 that NFL coaching legend Sam Wyche will appear at its indoor booth #9130 at GIE+EXPO 2010, which is set to take place Thursday, Oct. 28, through Saturday, Oct. 30, at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky.
“I’ve seen my fair share of turf,” said Wyche. “When it comes to my own lawn, nothing performs like a Grasshopper mower.”
Wyche will sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans on Thursday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3 p.m., as well as on Friday, Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
“I’m an avid Grasshopper fan,” said Wyche, who has owned a Grasshopper mower for more than 10 years. “So I’m excited to meet other Grasshopper enthusiasts and hear about their mowing experiences.”
Wyche is one of only four NFL veterans who participated in a Super Bowl as a player, assistant coach and head coach. He is most known for the creation of the “no-huddle offense.” As an offensive assistant under Bill Walsh with the 49ers, Wyche helped to coach Joe Montana to his first Super Bowl victory in Super Bowl XVI, and coached the Boomer Esiason-led Cincinnati Bengals to Super Bowl XXIII. He played for the Cincinnati Bengals, Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, St. Louis Cardinals and Buffalo Bills, and was head coach for the Cincinnati Bengals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
