Echo Bear Cat and distributor award chipper/shredder to charity raffle winner

Echo Bear Cat, along with an international distributor, Echo Power Equipment Canada (EPEC), recently presented a new chipper/shredder to Mark Thorne. Thorne registered to win the Echo Bear Cat SC2170 Chipper/Shredder by purchasing a raffle ticket through EPEC for its annual charity event.

Proceeds from the event went toward sponsoring a dinner for the men at EPEC’s local Mission Services, as well as to help fund the Prostate Cancer Centre-London Regional Cancer Program.

“Echo Bear Cat was thrilled when EPEC asked us to be a part of their charity event,” said Dale Winkelman, director of Echo Bear Cat. We are more than happy to donate the SC2170 Chipper/Shredder, knowing it was going towards a great cause.”

Thorne was excited to bring home his new SC2170, which he plans to use in his yard and his friends’ yards this spring to take care of some twigs, leaves and other minor debris.
