Central Power Systems to serve as distributor for CORE Outdoor Power

Central Power Systems, Columbus, Ohio, announced Feb. 29 that it has been awarded rights to distribute CORE Outdoor Power’s GasLess commercial-grade, zero-emission outdoor power equipment through its extensive network of dealers and retailers across Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Maryland, western Pennsylvania, Kentucky, West Virginia and Florida.

Located in Polson Mont., CORE Outdoor Power was founded to introduce an innovative zero-emission motor technology to the outdoor power equipment market. The Conductor Optimized Rotary Energy (CORE) motor developed by Matt and Lincoln Jore, a father and son team, along with a talented group of engineers at Core Motion, Inc., is a cutting-edge device capable of producing high-torque rotary motion at high efficiencies and power densities. Using a proprietary printed circuit board stator in cooperation with permanent magnet rotors, the CORE technology is able to generate a higher energy-to-weight factor than existing motor or engine technologies and at a fraction of the size and weight. And when this unique high-efficiency motor is combined with the recently developed hybrid power cells used in all CORE Outdoor Power products, the result is real commercial-grade, gas-less power and an extremely “environmentally clean” line of products that will stand toe-to-toe with gas-powered machines.
