Fisher-Barton Group announces acquisition
The Fisher-Barton Group of Waukesha, Wis., announced on June 19 the acquisition of Lund Precision Products Ltd., Ireland from U.S-based Lund Precision Group. Operating as a division of the Fisher-Barton Group of companies, Lund Precision Products Ltd., Ireland is positioned as Europe’s leading provider of high-performance agricultural cutting systems. With manufacturing and distribution facilities located in Athlone, Ireland, Lund Precision Products Ltd., Ireland provides products for agricultural tillage tools, agricultural harvesting equipment, and agricultural crop movement equipment.

Founded in 1973, Fisher-Barton is the largest OEM supplier of lawn mower blades and agricultural knives in the world. Prior to the Lund Precision Products Ltd., Ireland acquisition, the Fisher-Barton Group consisted of the following seven business units located throughout the United States and Vietnam: Fisher-Barton Blades, Inc.; Fisher-Barton Specialty Products, Inc.; Fisher-Barton South Carolina, Inc.; Thermal Spray Technologies, Inc.; Accurate Specialties, Inc.; Lineage Alloys, Inc.; and Zenith Cutter, Inc.
