Briggs & Stratton Corporation empowers homeowners with engine tips on PowerSmarts
Briggs & Stratton Corporation, the world’s largest producer of gasoline-powered engines for outdoor power equipment, is rolling out a new blog as an additional tool to keep homeowners up-to-date on the latest information about outdoor power equipment, lawn care tips, home improvement tools and trends.
The new PowerSmarts blog will bolster Briggs & Stratton’s already-robust consumer outreach, which includes a customer service answer center, engine repair FAQs, Facebook and Twitter presence, newsletters and an extensive Briggs & Stratton dealer network.
“Briggs & Stratton customers often first look to the web to find answers to their small-engine questions,” said Dan Benischek, director of the Briggs & Stratton Answer Center and featured contributor to PowerSmarts. “A blog is a natural extension of the conversations we are already having with Briggs & Stratton users and dealers both on and offline.”
The Briggs & Stratton blog will feature regular posts from engine experts and eventually guest posts potentially from small-engine and mower dealers, lawn care business owners, and even homeowners. Content will include information about small-engine parts, outdoor power product and mower repair, maintenance and seasonal lawn care tips, and tricks for keeping yards looking their best.
