Tour des Trees 2024
Bicyclists can enjoy a ride through southern New England at this year’s Tour des Trees, September 22 to 28. The event serves to advance TREE Fund’s mission to explore and share the science of trees contributing to the lives of people, communities, economies, and the environment, and of the planning, planting, and sustainability of urban and community trees.
The 425-mile-long cycling tour will kick off at the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens, birthplace of the International Society of Arboriculture, and spend five days riding from Stamford, Connecticut, to Martha’s Vineyard before finishing in Providence, Rhode Island. Along the way, tour riders will talk trees, learn and communicate the importance of our urban forests in our communities.
Full-time and part-time ride are options available. The Tour des Trees is a fully supported ride, so all you need to do is get there, pedal and fundraise. The 2024 ride will be roughly 425 miles and the schedule is as follows (subject to change):
