Sherwin-Williams named John Deere supplier of the year

Sherwin-Williams has been recognized by John Deere as a partner-level supplier for 2025 and was also named indirect global supplier of the year through the company’s Achieving Excellence Program.

Partner-level status is Deere’s highest supplier rating.

John Deere selected the Cleveland-based coatings supplier in recognition of product quality, service and continuous improvement efforts.

Sherwin-Williams supplies coatings to more than 35 John Deere original equipment manufacturer locations worldwide.

Suppliers participating in the Achieving Excellence Program are evaluated annually in categories including quality, delivery, process alignment, value creation and relationship management. John Deere Supply Management established the program in 1991 as a supplier evaluation and feedback initiative focused on continuous improvement.

Sherwin-Williams General Industrial Coatings manufactures liquid, powder and electrocoat technologies for manufacturers and tier suppliers serving markets including heavy equipment, transportation, building products, military and general finishing. The division is part of the Sherwin-Williams Performance Coatings Group.
