Multi Parts Solutions acquires HKX

Multi Parts Solutions (MPS) has acquired HKX Inc., a Monroe, Washington-based manufacturer of auxiliary hydraulic kits and control-system solutions for excavators and other heavy equipment. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition expands MPS into the construction equipment market and establishes HKX as its third operating division, joining ACC Heavy Duty, formerly American Chrome Co., and MPS Automotive.

HKX has more than 30 years of experience developing hydraulic kits and control solutions for attachments including breakers, thumbs, shears and rotating tools. The company also specializes in integrating electro-hydraulic and CAN-based controls into existing machine electronics.

MPS said HKX customers will continue working with the same team while gaining access to additional engineering, sourcing, testing, manufacturing and product-development resources.

HKX will continue operating from its Monroe facility. Burnett and the existing leadership team will continue to lead the division.
