Hyundai North America promotes Mike Ross to COO

HD Construction Equipment Hyundai North America has promoted Michael Ross to chief operating officer. In the role, Ross will oversee daily operations and support President and CEO Stan Park in managing the organization’s operational strategy.

Ross joined Hyundai in February 2020 as vice president of construction equipment sales after 24 years with other construction equipment manufacturers. His career included roles from territory sales manager to director of product and operations. Before entering the equipment industry, Ross served six years in the U.S. Army after graduating from United States Military Academy at West Point with a degree in economics.

During his tenure, Ross worked with Park as the company navigated the COVID-19 pandemic, expanded its dealer network and grew its product and parts support operations. Most recently, he served as senior vice president overseeing sales, service, product and marketing.
