Briggs & Stratton introduces AI support tool for dealers

Briggs & Stratton launched an artificial intelligence-powered service tool for its dealer network, aimed at providing model-specific repair information and reducing equipment downtime.

According to the company, the system delivers part numbers, maintenance instructions, repair procedures and safety information drawn from internal documents rather than general internet sources. Dealers can access the tool through the company’s Power Portal.

“Briggs & Stratton Assist is a direct result of listening to our dealers and investing in solutions that make their jobs easier,” said Carissa Gingras, vice president of marketing at Briggs & Stratton. “We built this tool internally to put accurate, trusted information at their fingertips, when and where they need it.”

The company said the tool is available at no additional cost to dealers and supports multiple languages. Briggs & Stratton reported the system has handled more than 150,000 queries since launch.
