Ryobi introduces 40V brushless pole saw for 2026 lineup
Ryobi has introduced a 40-volt brushless 10-inch pole saw as part of its expanding cordless outdoor power equipment lineup for 2026. The tool will be available in both a tool-only configuration (RY40HPPS01B) and a kit (RY40HPPS01K) that includes a 40V 2Ah lithium battery and charger.
The pole saw is designed for pruning and light limbing, with a maximum cutting capacity of 8 inches and an extension reach of up to 10 feet. It features a brushless motor, automatic chain oiler and an integrated branch hook intended to assist with cutting leverage and branch removal. The unit also includes a clear oil reservoir for monitoring lubrication levels and onboard tool storage for chain adjustments.
According to the company, the saw can deliver more than 60 cuts per charge when using the included 2Ah battery. Additional features include a 10-inch bar and chain, tool-assisted chain tensioning and compatibility with the broader Ryobi 40V battery system, which supports more than 80 cordless products.
