NALP Leaders Forum heads to Puerto Rico

The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) will bring Leaders Forum, its premier executive experience, to the El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Feb. 3-5, 2027.

Designed for landscape and lawn care company owners, CEOs and senior executives, Leaders Forum combines high-level business education with candid peer discussions and intentional networking.

The 2027 education sessions include:

• The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center on creating a culture of excellence, engaging employees and empowering team members to take ownership of the customer experience.
• Dr. JP Pawliw-Fry, co-founder of the Institute for Health and Human Potential and a New York Times bestselling author, on navigating the difficult “Last 8%” conversations that strengthen accountability and performance.
• Michael Feuz of ITR Economics with an economic outlook for 2027 and early 2028, followed by an interactive workshop that will help leaders apply economic data to business planning and decision-making.
• Sean Martin of the University of Virginia Darden School of Business leading “The CEO Decision Room,” an interactive case discussion centered on an owner or CEO facing a consequential business decision.
• Ann Marie Etergino, Trey Blanchard and Matt Paragamian of The Etergino Group discussing strategies for building, managing, protecting and transferring wealth (spouses and guests welcome at this session).
• Andrew Bray, NALP’s Executive Vice President of Government Relations, will provide timely intelligence about policy and regulatory developments affecting landscape and lawn care businesses.

Facilitated peer discussions, networking meals and structured activities will help attendees apply what they learn while building relationships with other industry leaders. The program will also include a first-time attendee reception, social events and the annual NALP-PAC fundraising event on Palomino Island.
