CNH names Kris Dahl to succeed Terry Dolan as North America Commercial leader
CNH Construction has named Kris Dahl to succeed Terry Dolan as leader of its North America Commercial business. Dolan plans to retire at the end of 2026.
Dahl brings 25 years of experience in construction equipment, commercial leadership, operations, technology and product development. He joins CNH and the CASE Construction Equipment and New Holland Construction brands from Caterpillar, where he held leadership roles in the U.S. and Asia and worked with customers, dealers and teams across global construction and mining markets.
Dolan rejoined CNH and the CASE brand in 2021. His responsibilities expanded in January 2025 to include leadership of both CASE and New Holland Construction.
During his tenure, the brands introduced the CASE Minotaur DL550 compact dozer loader, which combines compact track loader and dozer capabilities. CASE also expanded into subcompact equipment and continued development of its electric equipment portfolio.
Under Dolan’s leadership, New Holland Construction added dealers and locations in North America, expanding access to equipment, parts, service and support.
“CNH has been an important part of my career for many years, so making the decision to retire at the end of this year is certainly bittersweet,” said Dolan. “When I returned to CNH in 2021, I talked about my excitement for helping lead this business into its next generation, and I’m incredibly proud of what this team has accomplished together. We’ve introduced groundbreaking products, strengthened our dealer network and continued to find new ways to help our customers succeed. Most importantly, we’ve done it with the passion, ingenuity and determination that have defined CASE and New Holland Construction for generations. I’m grateful to have been part of that journey, and I have tremendous confidence in Kris and in what’s ahead for CNH Construction.”
Dahl’s background includes customer and dealer engagement, business growth, technology and equipment development, as well as leadership assignments across multiple markets and geographies.

Dahl joined CNH on Sept. 14 and will assume the leadership position Oct. 1. Dolan will assist with Dahl’s onboarding and remain with CNH through Dec. 30 to support the transition and other initiatives.
The leadership transition comes as CASE prepares to mark its 185th anniversary in 2027.
