Ferris adds 42-inch model to 300S zero-turn lineup
Ferris is expanding its 300S Series zero-turn mower lineup with a 42-inch deck model, joining existing 48- and 52-inch versions.
The compact model offers two engine options: a 23-horsepower Briggs & Stratton PXi Series engine with dust and particle filtration and a reinforced cylinder block, or a 21.5-horsepower Kawasaki FR651V engine.
The 42-inch 300S also features GrassMaster XT 20-inch tires designed to provide traction while minimizing turf damage and an 18-inch cut-and-sew seat. The mower uses Ferris’ patented suspension system, which includes a pivoting front axle and coil-over shocks to help absorb impacts from uneven terrain.
“The 42” 300S provides another option for customers who want Ferris performance in a more compact zero turn mower,” said Carissa Gingras, vice president of turf, consumer and service at Briggs & Stratton. “With upgraded components and patented Ferris suspension technology, this model delivers comfort, durability and productivity in an approachable package.”
