EETC makes key announcements
The Equipment & Engine Training Council (EETC), a non-profit association whose goal is to address the critical shortage of qualified service technicians in the OPE industry, recently made a few important announcements.
On the heels of Info Access inheriting responsibility for the administration of the EETC’s technician certification testing from the Outdoor Power Equipment and Engine Service Association (OPEESA), ARI acquired Info Access. As a result, the new contact information for the EETC Certification Test Center, where all correspondence regarding certification should be mailed or faxed, is as follows:

At approximately the same time that the test center was moving from Hartland, Wis., to Milwaukee, the EETC also moved its corporate office out of Hartland to better serve the needs of its members. The new contact information for the EETC corporate office is as follows:

The EETC also announced that its 13th annual conference will be held April 16-18, 2009, at the Monarch Hotel and Conference Center in Clackamas, Ore. (Portland). It will be sponsored by Oregon Cutting Systems Group, Blount Inc., and Shindaiwa, Inc.
