Spectrum acquires A/R Packaging

Spectrum Corporation of Selmer, Tenn., announced the acquisition of A/R Packaging Corporation of Waukesha, Wis. The two companies merged their operations effective Dec. 15, 2010, and the combined entity will continue to operate all current facilities located in Tennessee and Wisconsin.


The merger of these two companies in the formulating, blending and custom packaging of a variety of petroleum products — including lubricants, chemical and care products, fuel additives, brake fluids and coolants — will provide customers with enhanced products, technology, customer service, warehousing/inventory management, and distribution capabilities throughout North America and globally.


Spectrum and A/R’s private equity partner, Dominus Capital, will continue to assist the combined business in achieving and implementing its growth initiatives.
