New, fuel-efficient Stihl brushcutters are ideal for heavy clearing jobs

Powered by a low-emission engine, the Stihl FS 360 C-E and FS 460 C-EM brushcutters are approximately 20 percent more fuel efficient than previous models. Ideal for cutting wild growth, woody scrub and bushes, professionals can take on heavy clearing jobs with these reliable and dependable products.

The FS 460 C-EM is the first Stihl brushcutter available in the United States with the Stihl M-Tronic system, which is designed to intelligently manage the engine to deliver optimum power at all times. The Stihl M-Tronic engine automatically adjusts to changes in elevation, temperature and air filter cleanliness, eliminating the need for manual carburetor adjustments. It also compensates for fuel quality and varying octane levels, and its memory function automatically restores previous settings when subsequent conditions have not changed. Both the Stihl FS 360 C-E and FS 460 C-EM feature a 25.4-ounce translucent fuel tank, which results in longer run times and less refueling, as well as the Easy2Start system, which makes starting fast and easy. The rugged professional design and 4-point anti-vibration system allows for optimal control and helps to reduce user fatigue.

A new lightweight universal harness comes standard and provides comfort. Other features include a vertically pleated, paper air filter element that delivers an extended service life. Equipped with a semi-automatic choke lever, the Stihl FS 360 C-E and FS 460 C-EM have smoother, simplified starting, and also include a stop switch that automatically returns to the start position. The easy-to-adjust, soft-grip bike handle swivels to make storage and transport easier.
