Davisson BrothersThe Green Industry & Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO) recently announced its concert lineup. GIE+EXPO attendees are invited to enjoy one of country music’s newest trios on Thursday, Oct. 27, and a music legend Friday, Oct. 28, on the 4th Street Live stage in downtown Louisville. Both concerts are sponsored by GIE+EXPO, which will be co-located with Hardscape North America at Louisville’s Kentucky Exposition Center, Oct. 27-29, 2011. Concert admission is free to registered attendees.


Stealing Angels will get the crowd on its feet on Thursday at 9 p.m. and the Charlie Daniels Band will hit the stage on Friday at 9 p.m.


Stealing Angels is made up of three women who tout an impressive lineage. Member Tayla Lynn is the granddaughter and past backup singer for the Country Music Hall of Fame star Loretta Lynn; Jennifer Wayne is the granddaughter of film legend John Wayne; and Caroline Cutbirth is a descendant of the famous pioneer Daniel Boone. However, the trio is becoming well known in country music for more than their family trees. Their new album, Paper Heart, is out now and features songs that are personal to the trio. Their lead single, Paper Heart, can be heard on radio stations across the country or on their website.


Charlie Daniels will celebrate his 75th birthday on the GIE+EXPO stage at 4th Street Live on Friday, Oct. 28, at 9 p.m. Daniels is a Grammy-award winning country music and southern rock legend. He is most known for his No. 1 country hit, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” He was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2008, solidifying his place in country music history. The Davisson Brothers will open for Daniels, taking the stage at 8 p.m.
