Billy Goat’s new self-propelled overseeder

Billy Goat offers a complete line of turf renovation products, including the new OS900SPS overseeder that is hydrostatically self propelled to reduce fatigue associated with pushing. It boasts best-in-class, intuitive, right and left operator drive controls. The 22-inch-wide unit also features an exclusive 11-blade “floating head” cutting system that maintains contact with the contour of the ground. The machine comes standard with a 30-pound seed box with excellent visibility from the operator’s position. The box is generously elevated above the turf to eliminate any clogging. An axle-driven seed agitator bar eliminates the need for belts or tire-on-tire systems, which are wear items found on competitive units. The unit also features Billy Goat’s exclusive “Autodrop System,” which conserves seed and saves money by automatically starting and stopping seed drop with the bale engagement and prevents “end-of-the-run” seed piling. Infinite depth adjustment of the slicer blades promotes longer blade life versus presets, and seed settings are found on board for operator convenience. Folding handles allow for ease of transport and storage. Billy Goat’s turf renovation line also includes 20-inch OS overseeders; 48- to 72-inch tow-behind aerators; 18-inch AE core aerators, 20-inch PR power rakes, and 12-inch SC sod cutters.
