Bonus activities announced for dealers at GIE+EXPO and HNA
Servicing dealers, rental dealers, retailers, distributors and suppliers will benefit from a host of networking events, educational opportunities and prize drawings during the 2012 Green Industry & Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO) and Hardscape North America (HNA), which will take place Wednesday, Oct. 24, through Friday, Oct. 26, at Louisville’s Kentucky Exposition Center.
The aforementioned visitors will come together for an industry party on Wednesday. The welcome reception, which will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., wraps up the first-ever Dealer Day, a preview of the show. Among the festivities will be live music in two locations on the show floor; a 25-cent beer and hot dog reception sponsored by ARI, Husqvarna and Ideal Computer Systems in the Dealer Resource Pavilion; and an Oktoberfest theme with beer, brats and music in Stihl’s booth (#5080), where its representatives will hold a drawing for a $5,000 giveaway at 6:30 p.m.
Also, on Wednesday, dealers’ technicians have the opportunity to participate in three certification classes. Lista International Corp. will be giving away a toolbox valued at $2,000 to a dealership that registers a technician for any of the certification classes. Class times are 9-10:30 a.m., 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., and 1:30-3 p.m. The drawing will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Dealer Resource Pavilion.
Topics were recently announced for the Dealer Resource Roundtable Breakfast scheduled for Thursday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Tickets ($25) are available through the registration dashboard or by calling Sellers Expositions at (800) 558-8767.
