Briggs & Stratton announces 2012 Distributor of the Year

Bill Reitman, senior vice president of sales & service, and Doug Dougherty, senior director of distributor support, presented the award to Mark Polzin, president of Magneto Power.
“This award recognizes the high levels of service provided in several metrics that we track throughout the year,” said Dougherty. “Some of the metrics we feel are critical to the success of our organization and are important to our service dealer organization are high fill rates, next-day delivery, training and technical support, quality of Territory Sales & Service Managers, successful implementation of factory sales & service programs, and much more. We mutually set minimum standards and track performance throughout the year with each of our distributors. It is the goal of Briggs & Stratton and the IDN [Integrated Distributor Network] to continually strive to improve and offer world-class service support.”
Upon accepting this prestigious award, Polzin said, “Magneto Power is very proud of our team that continues to provide excellent service to our customers. We hope to continue to improve the value we bring to the marketplace with Briggs & Stratton being one of the strong companies we have represented for almost 90 years.”
