Stens, Pennsylvania dealer team up to help with Hurricane Sandy cleanup

In response to the devastation created by Hurricane Sandy along several eastern states, Stens Corporation announced Nov. 9 that it is deploying a relief team to the effected area to aid with cleanup efforts.

Starting Nov. 12, Stens Territory Sales Managers Ryan Schwartz, Brad Stiles and Bill Black will be on location in Bucks County, Pa., to provide chainsaw sharpening services with a Franzen automatic chain sharpening machine. Stens dealer, Marrazzo’s Power Equipment, located at 1301 Yardley Road, Yardley, PA, is providing the facility for the professional sharpening service.

Mike Marrazzo, owner of Marrazzo’s Power Equipment, invites all cleanup personnel from the surrounding counties, as well as the states of New Jersey and New York to visit his dealership to utilize this service.

There is no charge for chains to be sharpened. Donations of $5 per chain will be accepted, with all donations collected to be directed to the American Red Cross effort for Hurricane Sandy. Stens Corporation is the exclusive distributor of Franzen chain sharpening machines for North, South and Central America, as well as the Caribbean Islands. Chains can be professionally sharpened on average in four minutes, with minimal setup time, freeing service technicians to use their time on additional revenue-producing activities. The Stens team plans to remain in the impacted area to help as long as needed.
