Toro supports Renewal & Remembrance event
The Toro Company will participate in the Professional Landcare Network’s (PLANET) 17th annual Renewal & Remembrance landscaping event July 22, 2013, at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. For the second year in a row, Toro, along with its distributor, Turf Equipment & Supply Company in Jessup, Md., will provide PLANET with Toro stand-on aerators and volunteers to help restore the cemetery grounds.
“PLANET’s Renewal & Remembrance event is a wonderful way for the industry to thank the men and women who serve our country,” said Chris Hannan, marketing manager at Toro. “Toro and Turf Equipment & Supply are honored to have the chance to participate again this year.”
Toro’s 30-inch stand-on aerators are designed for high productivity and are compact enough to go most anywhere. With zero-turn maneuverability, variable speed, and reversible traction drive, they can easily get into, and out of, tight areas.
PLANET is an international association serving lawn care professionals, landscape management, design/build/installation professionals, irrigation and water management, and interior plantscapers. Planet’s Renewal & Remembrance is the largest green industry day of service in the country and has contributed more than $2 million to care for this historic landmark.
