Walbro announces VP of aftermarket division

Walbro LLC, the world’s largest carburetor manufacturer and leading supplier of fuel injection, ignition and fuel systems components, announced on January 12 the appointment of Tony Brancato as vice president of its aftermarket division.

Brancato brings to Walbro more than 30 years of experience, having most recently served as VP of global business aviation aftermarket at Honeywell. Immediately preceding his aftermarket role, he was president of Honeywell’s federal manufacturing & technologies business. Throughout his career, Brancato has enjoyed working in a variety of manufacturing, business management and customer-facing roles in technology-focused industries.

“Walbro has great brand recognition with a solid reputation for providing high-quality, innovative products,” said Brancato. “I’m excited to join this talented team as we work to accelerate new product introductions and bring an even greater level of service and support to our global aftermarket customers.”

Brancato holds a BA and MBA in business with an engineering background. He will be based in Walbro’s Tucson, Ariz.-based headquarters.
