Left-Hand Joystick Conversion Kit launched by Country Clipper
Corydon, Iowa-based Country Clipper has launched a Left-Hand Joystick Conversion Kit. This kit will allow dealers to convert right-hand joystick Country Clipper models to left hand joystick operation.
This will accommodate customers who want a left-hand joystick steering configuration as well as those who prefer the left-hand operation similar to other heavy machinery. Currently, this kit is compatible with 2021 Model Year Charger and Boss XL units.
“Our unique joystick steering in our zero-turn mowers has traditionally been a right-handed steering machine,” said Blaine Fields, national sales manager. “This left-hand conversion kit will allow more users to customize their equipment, optimizing their operating experience.”
Country Clipper released the first joystick-operated zero-turn mower in 1989 and remains the industry leader in manufacturing joystick-controlled machines. While the machine mechanically functions like the standard twin stick ZTR, a linkage assembly enables the single joystick to synchronously operate both wheels. Simply point the joystick in the direction you want to go, and the mower will do just that.
