ASCO acquires Oklahoma-based OCT Equipment
Lubbock, Texas-based Associated Supply Company, Inc. (ASCO) has acquired OCT Equipment, Inc. (OCT), which has locations in Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Clinton, Oklahoma. The acquisition grows ASCO’s footprint to a total of 27 locations throughout Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

The acquisition strengthens ASCO’s position as an equipment leader in key industries, including construction, agriculture and material handling, notes the company, and also expands its market leadership in growth areas such as rental.

ASCO was founded in 1960 as Associated Supply Company in Lubbock, Texas by the late J.W. “Bill” Wright as a Towmotor lift truck dealership and U.S. Army surplus equipment store. Today, the company is led by Bill and Corinne’s children: Brax Wright, Steve Wright and Paula Key.
