Same-Store Sales Report, December 2023

On the strength of whole goods sales in the region, the West region of the U.S. is the only one that showed growth year-over-year for the month of December. Whole goods sales there were up 9 percent, making up for declines in both service and parts sales, to give the West a 5% positive for the month. The Midwest and Canada enjoyed strong service sales in December 2023 compared to the previous year, but not enough to make up for declines elsewhere.
