Husqvarna introduces new Automower iQ series

Husqvarna introduces its new line of robotic mowers, the Automower iQ Series. The Swedish manufacturer launched robotic mowers commercially in 1995 with its Solar Mower, and 2025 marks the 30-year anniversary of that first robotic mower.

Husqvarna’s new Automower iQ Series offers flexible installation; that Connect app gives operators complete control of how, when and where their mower operates. The new robotic mowers have a coverage range from ¼ acre up to 2 acres. The mowers will be available in Spring 2025

Features:

  • No Wires Required: Automower iQ Series utilizes RTK technology and radar odometry for wire-free mowing. Husqvarna’s latest EPOS series will also be the first residential robotic mower to utilize a cellular reference station, eliminating the need for a physical reference station.
  • Flexible Installation: Automower iQ Series offers flexible installation between wire-free and wired technology to work in any yard.
  • All Cut System: 1 inch to 4 inch cut height for use on all grass types.
  • Designed to tackle hard surface transitions with raised chassis, optimized bumper design and larger wheels.
  • Automower Intelligent Mapping (AIM) Technology provides complete control of a lawn directly from a smartphone via the Automower Connect app. AIM Technology allows users to customize their lawn according to changing needs, i.e. avoid areas with newly sown grass or adapt the cut to suit your preferences. Users can accurately define and create work areas, allowing Automower to act according to area settings such as different times and heights.
