Mecalac acquired by French Fayat Group

The Fayat Group is a France-based international construction and industrial company. The family-owned firm works in construction and civil engineering, energy services, pressure vessels for waste and water storage, and road-building equipment and vehicles. Fayat businesses operate in more than 100 countries, with more than 21,000 employees. It owns equipment brands including Dynapac, BOMAG, and now Mecalac.

The Mecalac Group is an international manufacturer of loaders, backhoes, dump trucks and other construction vehicles. The company has manufacturing facilities in France, Germany, Turkey and the U.K., while maintaining sales offices in France, Poland, Italy, in Germany, Spain and in the United States serving a network of 200 dealers. 

The acquisition will be completed by the end of June 2025.
