OTR expands track offering with E5 tread pattern

OTR Engineered Solutions has expanded its rubber track lineup with the introduction of the TrackBoss E5 tread, designed to reduce surface damage while maintaining performance.

The company said the new tread is intended for use on sensitive surfaces, offering an alternative for operators seeking to balance jobsite protection with traction and durability.

“Operators shouldn’t have to choose between protecting the jobsite and getting work done. The E5 tread is designed to deliver on both, combining surface-friendly performance with the durability and traction customers expect from OTR track solutions,” said Michael Dembe, vice president of construction.

The E5 tread features a multi-bar pattern that blends characteristics of straight-bar designs with those that include multiple connecting points. OTR said the design is intended to provide a smoother ride while maintaining traction.

The tread is manufactured using proprietary rubber compounds aimed at improving durability and resistance to cutting and chunking. According to the company, the track is engineered for extended service life without reduced performance.

The E5 tread is currently available in commonly used sizes and widths for compact track loaders.
