Ego Commercial to debut eight new zero-turn riding mowers

Ego Commercial is debuting a full lineup of eight new zero-turn riding mowers at Equip Expo, giving professional landscapers new sit-down, stand-on and compact stand-on options designed for a range of professional mowing applications.

Powered by Ego Commercial’s removable high-capacity batteries, the new ZTRs deliver 44-hp. gas-equivalent power and performance while giving landscaping businesses the flexibility to right-size their battery investment and put those batteries to work beyond the mower.

The new zero-turn rider lineup includes:

  • Commercial sit-down ZTR: Available with 48-, 54- and 60-inch deck options, the sit-down ZTR delivers up to 44-horsepower gas equivalent and mowing speeds up to 12 mph. An I-beam constructed frame, 9-gauge fabricated deck and adjustable suspension seat combine durability and operator comfort for demanding daily use.
  • Commercial stand-on ZTR: A suspension platform combines operator comfort with the maneuverability of a stand-on mower, while an I-beam frame construction and 9-gauge fabricated deck provide commercial-grade durability. Delivering up to 44-hp. gas-equivalent and mowing speeds up to 12 mph, the full Stand-on ZTR is also available with 48-, 54- and 60-inch decks.
  • Commercial compact stand-on ZTR: Designed for commercial landscaping crews and properties where maneuverability matters, the compact stand-on is available with 32- and 36-inch decks and delivers up to 26 horsepower gas-equivalent with mowing speeds up to 9 mph. Its compact footprint makes it well suited for crews navigating smaller or residential properties and tighter spaces.

At the center of the new ZTR platform is a removable, high-capacity battery system that allows professional landscapers to right-size their battery investment based on the needs of their business.

Unlike an integrated battery system dedicated to a single mower, Ego Commercial’s high-capacity batteries can be removed from the ZTR. When mowing demand decreases, for example, the batteries can be used for off-the-grid charging in the field with PGX power banks to charge batteries for handheld equipment.

This flexibility allows landscaping businesses to use the same batteries across multiple pieces of equipment, maximizing their utility throughout the year.

The new commercial ZTRs also connect with the Ego Commercial fleet app, giving landscaping businesses greater visibility into the status, location and usage of equipment.

The commercial sit-down ZTR is available now, while the commercial stand-on and compact stand-on ZTRs are expected to launch mid-year 2027.
