Kawasaki introduces 2027 MULE SX side x side lineup

Kawasaki announced its 2027 MULE SX side x side lineup, a series of compact utility vehicles intended for jobsite and property maintenance applications.

The two-passenger MULE SX models feature styling similar to the larger MULE PRO series. Kawasaki said the compact machines are sized to fit in the bed of a full-size pickup truck for transport.

The lineup is powered by a single-cylinder, 401cc four-stroke engine and includes a steel cargo bed with a textured floor. Kawasaki said the vehicles have a towing capacity of 1,100 pounds.

The MULE SX series will be available in four configurations, including the MULE SX, MULE SX 4×4, MULE SX 4×4 ST and MULE SX 4×4 XC LE. Select four-wheel-drive models in the lineup will include digital fuel injection. The MULE SX 4×4 ST model uses a 401cc four-stroke carbureted engine.

Available colors across the lineup include timberline green, bright white and metallic onyx black. Kawasaki said the models are scheduled to arrive in summer 2026 and include a three-year limited factory warranty.
