John Deere, Yamaha Motor to collaborate on future side-by-side vehicles
Deere & Company and Yamaha Motor Corporation have agreed to collaborate on the development of future side-by-side vehicles.
Under the agreement, Yamaha Motor will contribute powertrain and vehicle design expertise, while John Deere will provide vehicle development capabilities, U.S. manufacturing and customer insights.
“John Deere and Yamaha share a commitment to quality, innovation and strong dealer networks,” said Jon Chase, vice president of John Deere’s Turf and Compact Utility Business Unit. “This collaboration will enable us to develop differentiated products that excite customers and create meaningful value.”

The companies will retain their respective brands, dealer and sales channels, and customer relationships. Details about future products will be announced at a later date.
