Toro’s new lithium-ion 48-volt Max string trimmer (Model # 51488) provides gas-like performance without the hassle or maintenance of gas. Its lithium-ion battery provides up to twice the power per weight versus a traditional nickel-cadmium battery. Other features include a 13-inch dual line for excellent performance; a cast-aluminum trimmer head for durability; auto-feed trim line, which automatically adjusts the line to the perfect cutting length; variable-speed control for multiple applications and longer run time at lower setting; adjustable assist handle to fit any user; extended shaft for maximum reach; and battery charge indicator lights to inform the user on run time.
