Briggs & Stratton and Midwest Engine Warehouse present Diamond Bagger motorcycle at GIE+EXPO

Briggs & Stratton Corporation and Midwest Engine Warehouse (MWE) presented a custom-built motorcycle to Richard Kelly of Ace Hardware and Outdoor Center of Dixon, Ill., at GIE+EXPO 2013 in Louisville, Ky. The giveaway was part of a promotion sponsored by Briggs & Stratton and MWE. The bike was revealed for the first time to Kelly and his family during the show in Briggs & Stratton’s booth on Oct. 24.

Presenting the motorcycle in the booth caused much excitement and anticipation from everyone at the show. Doug Dougherty, vice president of North America service sales with Briggs & Stratton, said, “We were very excited to present the motorcycle to Richard during the show and to congratulate him on his outstanding achievement.”

American Wrench of Aurora, Ill., designed a unique and show-stopping motorcycle. The details of the bike were phenomenal. The softail-framed, exhaust, oil tank, handlebars and sheet metal work were all one off custom fabricated.
