Podcast: New episode on autonomous implementation

“But right now, the people in the field don’t want to adopt [autonomy] because they think it’s going to replace them. And they just don’t realize that it could actually turn this job into a career,” said Joe Langton.

Echo robotics equipment is making an impact on golf courses for mowing and range-ball picking.

Glenn Hansen, host of OPE People, spoke with leaders and innovators in the use, sale and manufacturing of autonomous and robotic mowers for a new podcast episode “Putting Robots to Work.”

You’re going to hear from Joe Langton – that was him at the very beginning – as well as Mike Baum. Langton owns Automated Outdoor Solutions, a company deep into robots and autonomous mowers. Joe is based in northern Illinois, but he’s all over the country selling and implementing autonomy. Mike Baum is the general manager of Brodner Equipment, an OPE dealer in the Rochester New York area. Baum is an OPE+ award winning dealer – he’s been selling and installing robotic mowers on properties across his region for a few years. He is changing the way that region sees and thinks of robotic mowers.

I spoke with Langton and Baum about the HOW of autonomous mowers. Not the WHY. So why how and not just why? Listen in now!
