Husqvarna Introduces Extended Service Plan

On July 31, Husqvarna announced a new residential extended service plan called the Husqvarna Plus Extended Service Plan to protect outdoor power equipment for consumer use for a total of five years from the date of purchase. Dealers can earn excellent commission on the sale of every plan with the turnkey program, as well as expect additional service revenue through part sales and labor. The plan provides Husqvarna’s independent dealers with an extended service program competitive with national retailers.

No paperwork or investment cost to the dealer is involved; the program is maintained electronically on Products eligible for coverage include pressure washers, HUVs, chain saws, trimmers, blowers, edgers, riding mowers, walk-behind mowers, tillers and more. The plan, which contains no deductibles or diagnostic fees, enables consumers to save money on covered repairs and safeguard their investment.

The Husqvarna Plus Extended Service Plan will be available immediately to all states with the exception of the following which require licensing agreements to sell extended service plans: California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, Wisconsin and Wyoming. Licensing agreements can be completed in approximately 60 to 90 days.

Husqvarna dealers can contact Husqvarna customer service to sign up and receive a user name and password. Dealers should then complete the online dealer agreement at to receive the starter kit and begin selling.
