Echo Inc., Professional Bull Riders join forces
Echo Outdoor Power Equipment has forged a partnership with the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) to be its “Official Chain Saw” for the 2013 season.
“Echo chain saws are built to tackle the toughest jobs; the PBR is the toughest sport on earth — this partnership epitomizes the core of what our entertainment property is all about,” said Jim Haworth, PBR chairman and CEO. “We look for marketing partners that place value in what we exhibit; Echo recognized what the PBR symbolizes and worked with us to create a partnership that will generate awareness and buzz as our 2013 PBR season unfolds.”
The partnership is highlighted by Echo’s creation of a PBR-centric television commercial that will feature two-time PBR World Champion and fan favorite Chris Shivers endorsing the power, strength and endurance of Echo chain saws. Echo will also market their brand in 10 select Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) events during the 2013 season. The events are televised every week on CBS, CBS Sports Network and YouTube.

Echo will begin its partnership with strong activation around the Chicago PBR event on Jan. 12 and 13 at the Allstate Arena. Echo Power Equipment is located just up the road from Chicago in Lake Zurich, Ill., which hosts the company’s headquarters and manufacturing center. Echo chain saws are designed to provide long, trouble-free life.
