Long-time Wright dealer celebrates 50th anniversary

Activities took place at the third-generation company’s headquarters in Holtsville, N.Y.

Throughout the day, visitors enjoyed food, competitions, prizes and vendor displays. Wright had a display at the event and sponsored a dessert bar.

Judith Ross, Wright’s northeast regional sales and marketing manager, presented James Bissett, founder of Bissett Nursery Corporation, with a plaque commemorating this milestone and thanked the dealership for its continued support of the Wright product line.

“We were really pleased to be a part of this great celebration with one of our major dealers,” Ross said. “Bissett has been a Wright dealer since 1999. That’s just two years after the company invented the stand-on mower, our popular Stander.”
