Toro S’No Risk Guarantee: If it doesn’t snow, Toro gives homeowners their money back

The Toro S’No Risk Guarantee is set to kick off early season snowblower sales by making the purchase decision easier. Many homeowners worry about spending money on a machine, only to go through the whole season without any snowfall. In other instances, they wait too long for a snow event only to find store inventory has run out. This program helps homeowners buy with confidence and be prepared for winter in advance. It literally takes the risk out of purchasing a snowblower, offering homeowners money back if it doesn’t snow.

The S’No Risk Guarantee is simple: Homeowners who purchase any Toro snowblower register their machine online. If it snows less than 10 percent of their area’s average snowfall, Toro will give them their money back. If it snows less than 50 percent of the average, Toro will refund 10 percent of the purchase price. Best of all, homeowners get to keep their machine, being assured they’ll be able to tackle any future snowfalls.

“Research tells us that this offer really increases the likelihood of pre-season purchase,” said Christine Cheng, Toro marketing manager. “Many homeowners start out the season, planning to buy a snowblower, but wait to see what the weather will bring. This program takes away that purchase barrier. They are ready in advance of any snow, and if it doesn’t snow, they are financially covered.”

The S’No Risk Guarantee purchase time frame runs from Aug. 1 through Nov. 15, 2013, and is good on any Toro snowblower.

Toro has created a website (www.toro.com/snorisk) that includes full details on the program. Homeowners visit the site to register their product and to monitor the snowfall in their area. Official snowfall totals are measured by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) reporting stations across the country.

Toro electric, single-stage and 2-stage snowblowers are available at authorized Toro dealers and select Home Depot stores.
