Grasshopper displays two new FrontMount models at GIE+EXPO 2017
Grasshopper Company highlighted its largest and smallest FrontMount models at GIE+EXPO 2017. Features of the new FrontMount 900D 1.3L and 526V-52 are as follows:
* The 900D 1.3L FrontMount MaxTorque diesel mower (pictured above) is Grasshopper’s largest and most powerful front-mounted zero-turn mower. Powered by a Tier-4 Final-compliant diesel engine, this mower provides plenty of torque to power through heavy, lush grasses while delivering a manicured cut. It is available with a 61- or 72-inch DuraMax, 5.5-inch-deep deck. This clean-diesel-powered mower delivers better fuel economy, less vibration and a quieter operation. New features include an electronic fuel gauge with digital hour meter and two USB charging ports. Extra-large 24x12x12, low-pressure, bar-tread tires provide a smooth ride and extra traction.
* The new 500V Series mowers are the fastest, most compact FrontMount models. They are available with a 724-cc Commercial Turf engine with a 42-inch cut or an 810-cc Vanguard engine with a 52-inch cut. The 42-inch deck manually flips up, while the 52-inch deck features the Grasshopper-exclusive PowerFold electric deck lift that raises the deck at the flip of a switch, allowing easy underside access for cleaning and blade replacement.
