Echo introduces new trimmer series for professionals
Echo introduced the 30.5cc Echo X Series SRM-3020, designed for professional landscapers and right-of-way crews who demand top engine and cutting performance.
The SRM-3020 trimmer, the SRM-3020T high-torque trimmer (pictured right) and the SRM-3020U brushcutter (pictured above) were specifically designed to cut thick grass, heavy weeds and small saplings – making them ideal choices for maintaining parks, preserves, embankments, ditches and overgrown areas.
The Echo X Series SRM-3020 trimmers and brushcutter offer category-leading 1.8-hp. two-stroke engine performance along with a 20-inch cutting swath that increases productivity over competitor models. This translates into a 17% larger swath and double-digit improvement in cutting torque over closest competitors. Coupled with professional-grade features such as a large pleated paper air filter plus a foam prefilter, chrome cylinder plating, a two-ring piston, and exceptional hot restart ability due to its bellow-type intake, the SRM-3020 power head offers the performance that professionals demand.
The gear ratio for the standard trimmer and brushcutter is 1.62:1, with the high-torque trimmer using a 2.07:1 gear ratio for heavier duty applications. All models have a flex cable drive for the optimal performance and low vibration. Each model uses the popular Speed-Feed 450 trimmer head and is covered by a 2-year commercial/5- year consumer warranty.
