Tractor Bob’s receives Yanmar excellence award, readies for open house event

Tractor Bob’s, based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has received Yanmar’s award for excellence at the company’s annual Yanmar Agricultural Global Convention, held at the Portopia Hotel in Kobe, Japan.

Attended by Yanmar dealers from all over the world, the annual event recognizes exceptional leadership and performance among Yanmar’s global dealer network and is an opportunity for the company to share its future policy direction. More than 200 participants joined the convention at the Portopia, with a further 3,000 taking part online.

“We work with the customer, we spend time with them, and we build a relationship with our customer,” said Neal Snow, owner of Tractor Bob’s.

“Yanmar does a great job of providing the dealers with the things they need to take care of the customers,” said Neal Snow, the owner of Tractor Bob’s. “My goal and my hope for the company is that Yanmar becomes a household name, so when people think of tractors, they think Yanmar first.”

Snow shared a video introducing his company and gave a speech to the assembled guests, highlighting the dealership’s close partnership with Yanmar, their customer focus and business growth in the U.S. market. Asked about the key to Tractor Bob’s success, owner Neal Snow replied: “We work with the customer, we spend time with them, and we build a relationship with our customer. Our customers tell us that they did not just purchase a tractor, but they made a friend.”

“Tractor Bob’s has really shown what can happen when dedicated and resourceful dealers get the support they need to grow their brands,” added Jeff Albright, president of Yanmar America. “Yanmar America is committed to working with our dealer partners to offer exceptional purchase and ownership experience to our customers.”

Tractor Bob’s has two Oklahoma locations – in Oklahoma City and Yukon – as well as a third location in Gainesville, Texas. The company recently teamed with Yanmar to open the company’s Regional Distribution Center in Gainesville. Tractor Bob’s additional lines include Altoz, Bad Boy Mowers, Husqvarna, Stagecoach and more.

The dealership will host an Open House event March 10-11 at its two Oklahoma locations. The dealership is inviting customers to register in advance via its event Facebook page; those who do so receive discount coupons they can then put toward purchases (up to $1,000 off a purchase of $20,000). In addition, Tractor Bob’s is providing a prize wheel and raffle prizes for customers making purchases during the event, and the dealership is offering a free lifetime powertrain warranty on new tractor and mower purchases through the month of March on certain models. Food trucks will be onsite at both locations.
