Toro adds new drip-line irrigation product
Toro recently released its newest precision irrigation solution, a 17MM Drip In Brown Surface Dripline. The product incorporates a larger, clog-resistant, emitter into the industry-standard 17mm dripline; an upgrade sure to benefit contractors and homeowners alike.
The biggest benefit of the new 17MM Drip In Brown Surface Dripline is its clog resistance. Its unique emitter design includes a debris-resistant raised inlet, and dual outlets, which act both as an air relief valve (when installed at-grade) and a backup outlet. Similar products from other manufacturers usually include only a single outlet, so when they’re clogged, they’re clogged.
“Drip irrigation is an effective and efficient way to water targeted areas of the landscape. With improvements like dual-opposed outlets, laser etching and upgraded packaging, new 17mm Drip In simplifies installation for the contractor, and increases reliability for the customer,” said Craig Gaines, product marketing manager for Toro’s Precision Irrigation Business. “It’s another example of Toro’s ongoing effort to better meet our customers’ needs.”
Toro 17mm Drip In is sized to the industry standard, which allows for versatility and increases options for the installer. It is particularly suited for retrofits and system expansions.
