I am honored to introduce myself as the new Executive Director of the Equipment & Engine Training Council (EETC). It is a privilege to step into this role and join the ongoing work of empowering and equipping technicians who keep the outdoor power equipment industry running strong.
At EETC, our mission is clear: to develop and promote the highest standards of technical education and certification for current and future technicians in the outdoor power equipment field. With the rapid advancement of technology and the growing demand for skilled professionals, our commitment to supporting schools, instructors, manufacturers, distributors, dealers and employers has never been more vital.
As we look to the future, our goals remain focused on:
- Expanding access to industry-recognized certifications that validate skills and open career pathways
- Providing up-to-date curriculum and training resources that reflect current equipment and technologies
- Strengthening partnerships between industry leaders, educators, and workforce development programs
