Senix announces first hybrid zero-turn radius mower

Senix has announced three additions to its X6 line of outdoor lawn care equipment: The world’s first hybrid zero-turn mower; a 42-inch electric zero-turn mower; and a 60V, dual-battery backpack blower.

The new hybrid mower operates on batteries, gas or both, maximizing energy use and minimizing emissions. In hybrid mode, the mower automatically shifts to gas mode when its battery charge dips to 30%, maximizing efficiency and extending uninterrupted runtime up to 7.5 acres. The operator can also select electric, gas, or hybrid mode using the three-position switch.

“The Senix X6 60V Hybrid Zero-Turn Mower is the best zero-turn mower on the market because it is the only one to combine gas and battery technology into an eco-friendly mower that can mow up to 7.5 acres in one go,” said Andy Grayson, Director of Product Management at Senix.

Equipped with four battery ports and a fuel tank, the rider can keep going as far as the eye can see for the cost of 1.5 gallons of gas.

The hybrid mower has three selectable modes that adjust the ground speed, modulate the power output, and manage energy consumption for different mowing conditions.

  • Turbo mode delivers full power and top speed, ensuring optimal cutting strength and performance in demanding conditions like mowing through thick, tall, or wet grass.
  • Normal mode provides moderate speed and power to conserve energy. It’s ideal for maintaining lawns under typical conditions.
  • ECO mode is the most energy-efficient of the three modes and best suited for cutting dry, short grass that requires less power. In this mode, the hybrid mower reduces speed and power output to extend battery life or reduce fuel consumption.

Senix X6 60V 42-inch Hybrid features:

  • Up to 7.5 acres of continuous runtime when operating in hybrid mode with four 12.0Ah 60-volt battery packs on board and a full 1.5 gallon tank of gas.
  • 2 acres of ultra-quiet run time in electric mode.
  • Two battery ports with 12.0 Ah 60-volt batteries that can be charged on the mower or an optional offboard charger.
  • Two additional battery ports.
  • Dual brushless drive motors operate at 3,000 rpm, propelling the mower over rugged terrain and up and down 15-degree inclines.
  • Drive speeds from 3 to 8 mph and an electronic braking system for quick stops.
  • A 42-inch cutting width and an adjustable deck that offers 15 height positions. Select the deck height with the convenient dial and foot-assisted lift.
  • A control panel with mode buttons and a 5-inch LCD screen that displays battery life, drive mode, and other helpful information and alerts.
  • Front, rear, and side lights that illuminate the turf so operators can mow with confidence any time.
  • Creature comforts such as suspension seating and USB/Type-C and Type-A charging ports to keep mobile devices at full charge.

Available from equipment dealers in February 2026 for the MSRP of $6,999. Mower ships with two 12.0 Ah 60-volt batteries and a 1,600-watt wall-mounted charger that plugs into a standard 120V electrical outlet. A mulch accessory kit is sold separately.

New Electric Zero-Turn Mower Tackles 3 Acres

Senix also introduced the X6 60V Electric Zero-Turn Mower featuring four brushless motors that provide up to three acres of continuous runtime when the mower has its four 12.0 Ah 60V battery packs installed. Owners can purchase additional batteries to fill the two extra battery slots, resulting in an extended run time of up to four and a half acres.

The electric zero-turn radius mower will be available from equipment dealers in February 2026 for the MSRP of $5,999 and ships with four 12.0 Ah 60-volt batteries and a 1,600-watt fast charger. A mulch accessory kit is sold separately.

Senix X6 60V Backpack Blower

In addition to 33 newtons of push force, the new Senix X6 60V backpack blower has design touches that make it easy to use for big lawn care jobs. It has an adjustable throttle handle and cruise control that locks the trigger at one speed. The adjustable length blower tube detaches from the base and clips to the top of the blower for compact storage in a home garage or shed, or for easy transport from job to job.

Features include:

  • 33N push force
  • 950 CFM wind volume
  • 160 mph air speed
  • 2,000-watt brushless motor
  • An LCD screen that displays battery life and air speed

The new blower will be available at www.SENIXTools.com in October 2025 for the MSRP of $799 and ships with two 6 Ah 60-volt batteries and a dual-port offboard charger.
