Loftness promotes McComas to chief operating officer
Loftness Specialized Equipment has named Shannon McComas chief operating officer, the company announced.
In the role, McComas will oversee day-to-day operations and work with executive leadership on strategic planning and operational initiatives across the company’s product lines.
McComas joined the Hector-based manufacturer in 2024 and most recently served as vice president of sales and marketing. In that role, he worked on dealer relations and market expansion during a period of company growth across its agricultural and vegetation management equipment segments.
The company said McComas will continue overseeing sales and marketing responsibilities while taking on the new position.
“Shannon is a proven leader that has a deep understanding of sales and operations with a track record of success,” said Josh South, CEO of Loftness. “His expanded role as COO reflects the confidence we have in his ability to guide the company into its next phase of growth, and we are excited to promote him into this key leadership position.”
McComas said he looks forward to continuing to work with the company’s dealers and customers in the new role.
“Loftness has built an outstanding reputation for quality, innovation and customer support,” he said. “I look forward to continuing to work closely with our dealers and customers while strengthening our operational capabilities to support long-term growth.”
