Greenzie launches Version 5.0 software for autonomous mowing
Greenzie has released Version 5.0 of its software platform for autonomous commercial mowing, introducing updates aimed at improving performance and reliability across complex jobsites.
The release includes adaptive striping plans, enhancements to manage GPS variability, upgraded operator feedback and infrastructure improvements intended to support more consistent mowing operations. The company said the updates are designed to improve uptime, repeatability and predictable performance in commercial environments.
“Our latest software release reflects how far commercial autonomy has progressed,” said Greenzie CEO Charles Brian Quinn. “Version 5.0 represents the next phase of operational maturity. As adoption expands, the platform is designed to evolve with it, enabling contractors to deploy autonomy with confidence in real-world commercial environments.”
According to the company, Version 5.0 is informed by field data from active commercial deployments and is intended to support more efficient operation across a range of property types.
Additional updates include:
- Faster mowing across complex commercial properties
- Reduced downtime caused by GPS variability
- Clearer operator feedback and improved system visibility
- Reliability and network infrastructure enhancements that support more productive workdays
Greenzie’s autonomy platform is compatible with equipment from manufacturers including Wright Manufacturing, Mean Green Electric Mowers, Bobcat and Greenworks Commercial.
