Rotary recognizes national award recipients, prepares for 70th anniversary

Rotary Corporation recognized team members for leadership, sales performance and dealer development as the company prepares to mark its 70th anniversary in 2027.
Rotary President Ed Nelson welcomed employees and special guests at the company’s national sales meeting, where attendees reflected on the company’s history and its role in the outdoor power equipment industry.
During the event, team members also recognized Nelson with a birthday celebration.
Several employees received national awards for their contributions to the company and its independent dealer network.
Ashley Nelson received Rotary’s Duke Award, the company’s highest honor, named in memory of founder Duke Harvey. The award recognizes an individual who consistently provides exceptional service, demonstrates a strong team spirit and displays an unwavering commitment to Rotary’s continued growth and success.
Rodney Collins and Kevin Denaker received the Extra Mile Award. Ralph Baron received the New Dealer Award and Robert Rayon received the Sales Award. Jeffery Cox received the Copperhead Blade Award and Bradley McCullough received the Arbor Award.
“We are proud to recognize these outstanding team members whose dedication, professionalism and commitment to serving our customers continue to strengthen Rotary’s independent dealer network,” said Mark Smith, chief sales officer of Rotary.
“Our territory managers work tirelessly to help dealers increase profitability through innovative sales programs, preseason promotions and growth initiatives. Building lasting relationships with our dealer partners has always been a cornerstone of Rotary’s success, and these award recipients represent the very best of our organization,” Smith said.
Founded in 1957, Rotary supplies outdoor power equipment parts to customers in all 50 states and more than 75 countries. The company operates seven regional distribution centers and additional shipping locations.
Rotary operates a blade manufacturing facility and filter plant at its world headquarters in Georgia and a trimmer line manufacturing plant in Phoenix, Arizona. The company said approximately 80% of its replacement parts are manufactured in the United States.
