Kress expands autonomous mowing lineup with 60-inch Voyager

Kress Commercial is expanding its autonomous mowing lineup with the KR804 Voyager 60-inch, a fully autonomous zero-turn mower designed for professional landscaping operations.

The KR804 builds on the KR800 Voyager 40-inch, which was introduced in 2025. The new model features a 60-inch cutting deck and increased battery capacity. It is scheduled to debut at Equip Expo in Louisville, Kentucky, in October and will be available through Kress dealers beginning in October.

The KR804 is designed for route-based landscaping operations. A manual mapping process establishes property boundaries, pathways and no-go zones. After mapping, the mower can travel with crews between properties and operate autonomously.

The mower uses real-time kinematic (RTK) technology, LiDAR, VisionAI and other sensors for autonomous navigation. Its 360-degree sensor system detects and avoids obstacles while navigating mapped properties.

The KR804 has a 60-inch cutting deck and a stated mowing capacity of up to 2.5 acres per hour. Its 38-kilowatt-hour energy capacity provides up to 19 acres of coverage on a single charge, according to Kress.
